Tucker's Bio
From Colgate to the pro game.
A five-year starter at Colgate University (D1), Tucker led his team to four Patriot League Championships and four trips to March Madness.
At Colgate, Tucker became the first player in the school's 120-year history of basketball and the 36-year history of the Patriot League to amass over 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, and 400 assists. He started in 151 games and scored 1,740 points, earning Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Scholar-Athlete of the Year his final year. This was on top of being named Rookie of the Year in 2017.
A career 38% three-point shooter, Tucker averaged 47% from beyond the arc in three NCAA Tournament games against the likes of Tennessee, Arkansas, Wisconsin, and Texas.
In high school, Tucker led his team to their first-ever state sectional crown. He attended post-grad at Blair Academy where the team won the state prep school championship, and he played guard for the Under Armour 16-U national AAU championship team in 2016.
Today, Tucker is a starting guard for HLA Alicante, a pro basketball team in Spain. He played his first pro year in Finland, winning the national championship. His second year, his Brussels team made the playoffs for the first time in years. Tucker's path from college basketball to playing professionally is rare, and it's not every day you get to learn from someone who's walked the path you're aiming for.
