Why Tucker
Tucker came out of high school with a single college offer. He left Colgate as the program's all-time leader in assists, steals, and three-pointers, with four NCAA tournament trips along the way. He now plays pro basketball overseas.
Who It's For
Bring questions, film clips, or specific plays you want feedback on. Tucker will break it down and give you concrete next steps. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian on the call.
Want a pro's perspective on a player's development, recruiting path, or training plan? Tucker works with parents and coaches too. Bring your questions.
On the Call
Film clips, recruiting questions, a play you can't figure out, mental side of the game. Anything. The more specific you are, the more useful the call will be.
Real feedback from someone who's actually played at every level you're trying to reach. No generic advice, no recycled motivational talk.
Concrete next steps you can work on tomorrow. Drills, mindset shifts, recruiting moves, whatever the call surfaces.
From the inside

Tucker's one on one mentoring lessons are very insightful and invaluable. He is able to analyze and break down game film clearly and provide recommendations and suggestions for improvement. Tucker focuses on recognizing shot opportunities, on preparing early to shoot, and on understanding the importance of shooting all the “yes” shots. He identifies moments in games when players could be more aggressive, when they could make a different move or shot, and when they could help themselves with different spacing or different cutting. Tucker's basketball background and his experiences have prepared him to mentor players who have a variety of ability levels and goals. He is always personable and friendly, and my son is grateful for the help he received. We look forward to our next session.

Tucker's mentoring sessions have been a game-changer for my basketball journey. He has provided invaluable guidance on contacting coaches, creating highlight videos, and focusing my training. His feedback and insights have helped me with my game confidence and IQ and understanding of the recruiting process at all division levels.

Tucker and the Hacking Hoops Community have been incredibly valuable to me and my family as I've worked to advance both academically and athletically. In my 1-on-1 sessions with Tucker, he gave honest feedback, discussed my off-court development, and gave practical advice on everything from training and game preparation to building a resume that stands out to NCAA and professional recruiters.

Our one-on-one session with Tucker Richardson was incredibly motivating for my son, Jack. Tucker's advice on building confidence, playing aggressively, and preparing for varsity tryouts was practical and inspiring. He broke down how to anticipate plays and create opportunities, sharing personal experiences that made the path ahead clearer. Tucker's encouragement and expertise gave my son a real plan for improvement, and we're grateful for the guidance as he works toward his basketball goals.

Tucker's one-on-one mentoring has made a huge difference for my daughter, Brooke. She struggled with her confidence during a shooting slump, but Tucker's encouragement and practical tips helped her work through it. He also convinced her to talk with her coach about getting more playing time as a point guard, which is likely her college position. Tucker's guidance has helped Brooke stay positive when she makes mistakes like a bad pass or missed shot, instead of getting frustrated. We're so grateful for Tucker's advice and the positive impact he's had on Brooke's game and mindset.
