Hacking Hoops is a basketball coaching and community platform run by Tucker and Wendy Richardson. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit hackinghoops.com or use our services, what we do with it, and the choices you have. 1. What we collect.

We only collect information you give us. That happens when you:

• Sign up for our email list or download a free resource
• Fill out the background form for a session with Tucker
• Submit film for a breakdown
• Apply for a scholarship or contact us through the website
• Purchase a session, film breakdown, or community membership

The information we may collect:

• Name and email address
• Player details you share on a background or intake form (age, position, school, goals, what you want help with)
• Payment details, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number
• Community profile information you add inside Circle (our community platform)
• Basic analytics about how you use the site (pages visited, device, referral source)

2. How we use it.

• To deliver the resources, sessions, breakdowns, or community access you signed up for
• To send you emails you opted into (newsletters, course updates, replies to your questions)
• To improve the site and figure out what content is actually helpful
• To process payments and prevent fraud

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the tools we use to run the business (listed below) or when required by law.

3. Tools we use.

To run Hacking Hoops we use a small set of third-party services. Each one only sees the data it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — processes payments
• Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — sends our email newsletters and course emails
• Circle — hosts our community platform
• Calendly — schedules 1-on-1 sessions with Tucker
• Formidable Forms — collects form submissions on our WordPress site
• Google Analytics — measures site traffic and behavior in aggregate
• Meta Pixel — measures how people find us from Facebook and Instagram
• YouTube and Vimeo — host our video content

Each service has its own privacy policy. We pick tools we trust, but we encourage you to review theirs if you want the full picture.

4. Cookies and tracking.

We use cookies and similar tools (mainly Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) so we can see which pages are working and which ones aren't. None of this is tied to your name or any personal information. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings. Doing that won't break the site, but a few things (like staying logged in) may stop working smoothly.

5. Players under 18.

A lot of our players are under 18. If a player is under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be involved when signing up, paying, or attending a session. Forms that ask for player information are meant to be filled out by a parent or guardian on the player's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, email us at info@hackinghoops.com and we'll delete it.

6. How we protect it.

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to keep your information safe. Our website runs on secure hosting, payments go through Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure, and access to data inside our tools is limited to people who actually need it. That said, no system on the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

7. How long we keep it.

We keep your information for as long as you have an account, an active membership, or an open business relationship with us. If you ask us to delete your data, we will, unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons (for example, payment records).

8. Your rights.

You can always:

• See what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct or update it
• Ask us to delete it
• Unsubscribe from our emails (click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email)
• Opt out of certain analytics or ad tracking through your browser or Meta account

9. Links to other sites.

Our site sometimes links to other websites (training resources, articles, recruiting tools). We don't control what they do with your information. If you click out, take a quick look at their policies too.

10. Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy when our tools or services change. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll let our email list know.
